This study aims to examine how an organization’s dynamic capability is impacted by training and development. It also investigates the mediating role of a climate of trust in the relationship between training and development and dynamic capability. Based on the knowledge-based view and dynamic capability theory, we developed and validated a conceptual model using the partial least squares-structural equation (PLS-SEM) modeling technique, considering 362 responses from industry personnel. The study found that training and development can significantly improve the dynamic capability of environments with a high climate of trust. The study has theoretical and practical implications, which are discussed. Keywords: Training and Development, Dynamic Capability, Knowledge-based View, Organizational Climate of Trust.
