Delivery via Hybrid Model
The course will be delivered via a unique hybrid model with four residencies and each residency for nine days, involving intensive classroom sessions spread over a year, interspersed with online interaction and group work – first of its kind in India.
This also Include two critical experiential learning pedagogies:
- Policy Walk: The purpose is to visit the people who matter and who are at the helm of affairs when it comes to policy formulation and implementation. The discussions and interactions have helped them in understanding Public Policy in India with a practical and dynamic approach.
- Capstone Project: All AMPPP participants will be required to write an original paper on an approved public policy topic. It is expected that this will integrate all their learnings into a topic of their choice.
This modular residency format facilitates acquisition of knowledge and skill-sets without requiring participants to take a break from their regular jobs.
Technology Assisted Learning
The Technology Assisted component of the course is distributed over both pre-residency as well as post residency. It will be delivered via a combination of any two or more of the following tools depending on the needs of that particular module and the respective faculty:
- Live Webcast / Pre-recorded video
- Lectures / online tutorials (web based)
- Audio recordings of discussion of readings and case studies
- Online quizzes (either graded or otherwise)
- Online (either live chat or email based) Q & A sessions
- Assignments - submission and review of work done by each participant team
- Any additional write-ups, journals, articles or pre-reads as prescribed by faculty.
